The Junior Division level of play is sponsored by Little League and targets youth players in their LL 13 and 14 year old seasons.  This is competitive play within Little League District 6 on the larger, regulation diamond.   Targeted instruction and skill development is emphasized with the goal to both prepare players for high school level of play (for those wishing to move on to that level) and to provide team-building and skill development for those players wishing to continue with their baseball careers.   Home games and practices are at either Avon High School or Buckingham Fields.   The regular season runs mid-April to mid-June and includes a single-elimination playoff format.  At least one practice per week and  a 15 game season is the commitment for players.   A twelve (12) person roster for post-season All Star pool play will be created (players voted on by the LL tournament committee)  and one team entered in the District 6 All Star tournament which typically runs from late June through mid-July.
